James Hansen and Brian Dyste started Minnesota Weatherization Specialists in 2014 with 14 years of experience in the weatherization industry. After witnessing the major hurdles that homeowners, builders and general contractors are faced with when ordering products from other large suppliers James & Brian decided to break the mold. They quickly went to work focusing on solving these issues and building relationships by providing customers with the best possible experience.
Our experience has grown to over 20 years now. With this experience we continue to lead the industry by providing our customers with more custom and flexible options when purchasing any of our products. We also provide a complete package to our customers by working closely with an installation company certified by the manufacturer. This ensures our customers only get the best out of our entire product line. Recognizing that each customer’s project has different needs and treating each customer like they are our best customer, because they are, is what truly sets MWS apart from the rest.
In addition to tailoring each customers experience to fit their needs MWS also provides the best possible price to its customers. At MWS we choose to use our buying power to provide every customer with the best price possible. We do this because treating each customer equally, regardless of the size of their project, is what has led us to build long lasting relationships with some of the largest builders in the industry.
We continue to set ourselves apart from the rest by providing our customers with our own service technicians that are certified by the manufacturer. At MWS we also provide our own service technicians certified by the manufacturer. This prevents our customers from having to wait on the manufacturer to resolve any warranty related issues. James & Brian recently noticed a need for custom millwork providers from their customers. This led to MWS acquiring a mill, and we will soon be able to provide custom millwork to our customers at industry leading prices. Having our own mill will also allow us to meet the tight deadlines that come with the industry. We look forward to innovating unique business practices and creating solutions to the issues within the millwork industry, ensuring our customers have an experience no other mill can provide.
In the last 2 years James and Brian have focused on acquiring some of the best talent in the industry. Their focus on seeking out the best talent possible has led them to make changes at every level. Hiring senior project managers, job superintendents, along with increasing their office staff is what allows MWS to continue identifying issues and streamlining processes for our customers. In addition to our top shelf work force and office staff we have made changes on the ownership level as well.
